 SINHARAJA FOREST Sinharaja is a rainforest. It is a world heritage. It is in Rathnapura District.  Sinharaja is a treasure trove in our country. Because, there are rare flora and fauna.  As well as ,there are different kinds of animals, reptiles, birds, insects and plants. Sinharaja gets rain throughout the year. Therefore, many streams start from sinharaja forest. I think, Sinharaja is a gift of mother nature. Therefore, we should protect.  

 MY SCHOOL I'm very proud to say  that I'm a shepherdian. My School is Good Shepherd Convent, Kotahena. It is situated in Colombo district. Good Shepherd Convent is a Semi-Government Catholic Girl's  School .  It was founded in May 1869. I studied their for thirteen years. I passed my scholarship, ordinary level exam and Advance level exams from their. My school had really beautiful environment. School Colors are blue and white. I have met lot of kind hearted people from their. So for me, The heaven I have seen for my lifetime is my School.

VILLAGE LIFE🍀🌴🌳 My village is bemmulla.  I like to live in the village.  There are many reasons for my choice.  The rural environment is very clean.  I can live a healthier life in the village, the cost of living in the village is lower than in the city.   I can eat fresh fruits and vegetables and drink clean water, almost all of the ingredients are reasonably priced.  There is no food contamination like in cities.   The villagers lead a simple life.  There are shady trees and greeny fields in the village.  These views delight my eyes. There is No noise pollution here.  There is also no air pollution.  So I can breathe fresh air.  The life in the village is close to nature.   AN INTERESTING BOOK I HAVE READ I was only eleven years old when read Martin Wickramasinghe's  Madolduwa for the first time.  It is a very interesting children's adventure story.  The book was so popular that it has been translated into several foreign languages.  "Madolduwa" has become the most popular novel among school children.  It is full of rural youth fleeing in joy.  Here is a summary of the story.  The main characters in this story are Upali and Jinnah.  We first meet Upali Giniwella as a seven year old motherless child.  His mother dies and his father remarries a year after his death.  The stepmother is not a woman but does not know how to take care of a child without a mother.  In other words, she cannot understand the world of children.  Upali does not receive parental love and affection.  He feels like he is an outsider.  He is not interested in school education.  Even his father does not unde...
